It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. If so consider this my thumbnail.
My interest in photography grew out of my love of art and my fascination with the process of making a picture. In college I majored in engineering but I had always been drawn to the arts- my left brain seeking to satisfy my right brain's need for a creative reward.
Photography, like engineering, is often about problem-solving. Whether faced with the task of making a product hover above an other-worldy landscape or simply rise from the banal to the sublime, there is always a challenge for the technical and the aesthetic.
